After applying stain to this beautiful home which was once covered in polyurethane, what a difference.

This home was stained by an amateur painter and the solid stain left streaks on the entire home. You can't see them here very good but they are there by the hundreds.

Oil based stain clearly trapped moisture and caused mold to build up, the log ends are very dark from moisture being trapped.

The oil based stain is missing and has trapped excessive moisture below the window near the railing and around the bottom several rows of logs. See the dirt sticking to the surface. This is not good.

Before and after new age media blasting on the porch, see the difference blasting can make. You now have a clean dry surface for applying stain.

This is a view of the logs beneath the window on the same porch in the previous photos. The stain is peeling and absolutely has trapped a great deal of moisture as is evident from the mold and moisture underneath the stain.
